What is a CT Angiogram ?

Angiograms

An angiogram uses CT technology and a special contrast dye to take pictures of the arteries in any area of your body. The dye is injected through a cannula (a thin plastic tube) which will be inserted into a vein in your arm. The CT scan will be acquired whilst the dye is passing through the arteries of interest.
