What are MRI Abdominal and Pelvic scans?

Abdominal or Pelvic MRI scans are performed for a wide variety of clinical reasons, providing unique diagnostic information. Upper Abdominal scans can be done to look at the Liver/Biliary System (MRCP), as well as the other abdominal organs. Pelvic scans can be done for gynaecological issues, cancer staging (Such as Cervix or Rectum) or prostate.
